East China’s Jiangsu province has held job fairs and issued various preferential measures since the beginning of autumn in a bid to give full play to the market-oriented role of human resource service institutions and social organizations, and building a higher quality platform for both college graduates and employers.
Yancheng launched the local leg of a nationwide job fair on Friday, with nearly 500 employers providing over 14000 job vacancies, attracting over 10000 graduates from more than 20 universities. 7402 resumes were submitted offline and online, and 5172 people reached preliminary employment intentions.
“Today, I participated in a large-scale recruitment event and met many high-quality companies that offer competitive positions. I have reached a preliminary intention to sign an employment contract,” said Zhang Ye, a student of Yancheng Institute of Technology.
This activity is sponsored by the National Talent Mobility Center of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, and jointly organized by Jiangsu Provincial Department of Human Resources and Social Security and the Provincial Department of Civil Affairs.
Jiangsu will hold over 500 job fairs for college graduates, with over 20 thousand employers providing 300 thousand job vacancies.
Since September, Nanjing has held two special job fairs and will continue to expand the recruitment scale by focusing on cutting-edge fields such as smart grids, metaverse, and new generation artificial intelligence.
260 enterprises in Changzhou have provided approximately 13000 job vacancies, attracting over 8000 graduates. New energy enterprises are highly favored. At the job fair held by Suqian College, 181 employers provided 12435 job vacancies. Zhenjiang held an autumn job fair, with 90 high-quality employers providing job vacancies.
“We will visit local companies to help every graduate find high-quality jobs,” said Zhang Jian, Deputy Director of the Admissions and Employment Office of Suqian University.
