The 2023 Suzhou Tour of Overseas Chinese Student Associations was held on Saturday and Sunday with representatives from North America, Asia, and Europe, as well as overseas Chinese students, participating in project coordination and exchange.
Suzhou has released a multilingual version of Suzhou Life Online, providing more than 40 pieces of information, including policy matters and living support services, for overseas returnees and talents who come to Suzhou for innovation and entrepreneurship.
Suzhou has reached cooperation intentions with 10 overseas Chinese student associations by giving full play to their resource advantages to create an internship base for overseas Chinese students, and to assist in the landing of overseas student projects in Suzhou.
“For example, recruiting for employment, internships, project coordination, and talent attraction, Chinese graduates from various countries come to Suzhou to seek innovation and entrepreneurship opportunities,” said Peng Dinglan, Chairman of the North American Graduate and Doctoral Scholars Association and Founder of the All Canadian Student Union.
At present, Suzhou has recorded 3.7 million talents, including 380 thousand high-level talents and 63 thousand overseas returnees. Suzhou has been selected as the "most attractive Chinese city in the eyes of foreign talents" for 12 consecutive years, and has been rated as the "best talent attraction city in China" for 4 consecutive years.
