East China’s Jiangsu province has continued to donate supplies to the quake-hit zones in northwest China’s Gansu Province to help the quake victims ward off the freezing cold. Let’s take a close look.
In Tongzhou District of Nantong city, four large trucks carrying over 10000 winter blankets, mattresses and other items were sent to the earthquake-stricken areas in Gansu.
“We hope to deliver these supplies to the earthquake-stricken areas as soon as possible so as to help the people there to live a safe and warm winter,” said
Shao Ju, Secretary of the Party Group and Executive Vice President of the Red Cross Society in Tongzhou District.
In less than 4 days, Haizhou District of Lianyungang has raised over 10000 brand new clothes and blankets for the quake victims in Gansu.
