East China’s Jiangsu province has stepped up the construction of major investment projects and ensured their smooth progress through every possible effort so as to ensure a flying start for social and economic development in 2024.
On Monday at the 2024 Future Industry Development Conference, Wuxi signed over 33-billion-yuan worth of contracts for 37 key projects in seven major fields that include commercial aerospace, synthetic biology, and humanoid robots.
Wuxi has also allocated a total of 1 billion yuan in transformation support funds to support and cultivate future industries such as third-generation semiconductors and quantum technology in a bid to cultivate a group of leading enterprises.
Yangzhou has signed 24 modern urban agriculture projects, including experiential sightseeing and live streaming sales. At the same time, it has also cooperated with the Jiangsu Academy of Agricultural Sciences and the Yafu research team to provide technical support for the development of modern agriculture.
On Monday, Jiangning District of Nanjing signed contracts for 39 key industry projects including high-end drug production, smart grid, and new generation information technology, with a total investment of 33.76 billion yuan.
XCMG has recently delivered 208 mobile cranes key engineering markets at home and abroad. The cranes include the newly upgraded global first crane and multiple customized products tailored for overseas markets.
Suzhou recently shipped 160 pure electric buses to Pakistan, becoming the largest single export of pure electric buses from China to Pakistan.
