The 13th session of China (Nanjing) International software products and information services and trading exposition opened Wednesday in Nanjing. Governor Wu Zhenglong attended the opening ceremony and met some of the guests attending the exhibition
The theme of this soft expo is software defining the world and data driving the future.
The scale of the exhibition maintained the leading place in the country with the number of the attendees, forum activities, exhibits and technologies increasing substantially.
Wu Zhenglong visited the theme hall, specialty hall, interactive hall and intelligent agriculture hall to learn about the development of cloud computing, artificial intelligence, mobile interconnection and cutting-edge technologies.
The governor also talked with the exhibitors in charge of the participating companies and the contestants for the sixth session of "China Software Cup" College Students Software Design Competition before gaining a detailed understanding of the province’s software, big data and the promotion of Nanjing as a leading software city.
Before the opening ceremony, Wu Zhenglong met with the officials from the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology and the experts, scholars, and entrepreneurs to extend his warm welcome on behalf of the provincial CPC committee and the provincial government and conveyed the greetings of the provincial party secretary Li Qiang.
The software expo is expected to stimulate the development of the emerging industries of strategic importance, such as the software and information industries, to help with the transformation and upgrading and the innovation-driven development in Jiangsu, the governor said.
