The presidium of the annual provincial legislative session held its fifth meeting Tuesday morning. The meeting was presided over by Gong Pixiang, vice chairman of the executive chairpersons of the annual session.
Hu Jinbo, deputy secretary-general of the legislative session, gave a report on the list of the nominees for the chairman, vice chairpersons, secretary-general and members of the standing committee of the provincial people’s congress.
The list also include the nominees for provincial governor, vice governor, chairman of the provincial supervisory commission, president of the provincial court and chief procurator of the provincial procuratorate.
The NPC delegates from Jiangsu were also nominated as well as the nominees for the chairman, vice chairperson and members of the sub-committee of the provincial people’s congress.
The presidium meeting passed the resolution on the draft of the work report of the Standing Committee of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Congress, the work report of the Jiangsu Provincial Higher People's Court and the work report of the Jiangsu Provincial People's Procuratorate.
The draft of the three resolutions, after deliberation by the deputies, will then be submitted to the plenary meeting for a vote.
