The exhibition of Intangible Heritages from Xuzhou was held on March 17th at the permanent venue of the Federation of HK Jiangsu Community Organizations.
The exhibition is expected to boost communication and cooperation between Hong Kong and Jiangsu, specifically Xuzhou by introducing intangible cultural heritages of Xuzhou city like sachets, paper-cuts, and clay figurines.
Wang Yanwen, member of the Standing Committee of the CPC Jiangsu Provincial Committee and head of the United Front Work Department and Publicity Department of the Jiangsu Provincial Committee, and Tang Yingnian, head of the Federation of HK Jiangsu Community Organizations, attended the ceremony.
Also attended the ceremony were more than 100 people from all walks of life in Hong Kong.
After the opening ceremony of the exhibition, Wang Yanwen presided over a forum on the work of the HK-Jiangsu cultural carnival and went to the Hong Kong Victoria Park to give on-site guidance.
