The seventh meeting of the Standing Committee of the 13th Provincial People's Congress opened Tuesday morning in Nanjing.
Lou Qinjian, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress, presided over the first plenary meeting. Deputy Chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress Chen Zhenning, Xu Zhongzi, Xing Chunning, Liu Handong, Wei Guoqiang, Qu Futian, and Secretary General Chen Mengmeng, attended the meeting.
The meeting of the chairpersons of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress submitted to the meeting a proposal for appointment and dismissal of personnel. Lou Qinjian made a brief elaboration on the proposal. The nominees were invited to make a statement.
The participants deliberated on the report of the review of the Jiangsu Province Advertising Regulations (Revised Draft) and the Jiangsu Province Real Estate Registration Regulations (Revised Draft).
The head of the Personnel Representative Liaison Committee of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress elaborated on concerned issues.
The participants also reviewed the execution of the 2017 provincial budget and the problems identified in fiscal revenue and expenditure auditing. The credentials committee of the Standing Committee of the Provincial People's Congress elaborated on report concerning the qualifications of some deputies.
