In his first leg of the inspection tour, Lou visited the jschina.com.cn under the Xinhua Newspaper and Media Group and was pleased to be informed that the its innovative brand activity “Marxist Youth” is very popular among young people.
He emphasized that it is necessary to closely integrate the development of the times and the practice of Jiangsu to promote Marxism, and to use popular language and vivid forms to preach the Xi Jinping Thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, which is the latest epitome of the achievements of Marxism in China, so that more young people can really understand the theory.
The CPC Provincial chief said that the mainstream media operators should not simply follow the hotspots and win the eyeballs, rather they should be good at finding the problems behind the news, analyzing the problems in depth, and proposing suggestions for solving the problems so as to give full play to the role of news media being the eyes and brain of the party and the government.
Lou also visited the all media command center where he speaking highly of the group’s ceaseless efforts for the enhancement of the mainstream ideology, adding that Xinhua Daily has a red gene and a glorious tradition so that it should give full play to the advantages of deep accumulation, rich experience, and talent pool, seize the changes brought about by the computer and the Internet, and publicize the Xi Jinping Thought n Socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and General Secretary Xi Jinping's spirit of the instruction on the work of Jiangsu through vivid and lively materials.

When visiting Jiangsu Broadcasting Corporation, Lou Qinjian said that to achieve good results in good policies, the media operators need to make extensive and in-depth interpretation and publicity, and continue to do a good job in publicity and interpretation of the government’s policies.
