The second session of the 13th National People's Congress or NPC lowered the curtain Friday.
Legislators approved resolutions on the government work report, and the work reports of the NPC Standing Committee, the Supreme People's Court and the Supreme People's Procuratorate.

This meeting is a great and victorious success. The important speeches made by General Secretary Xi Jinping when attending panel discussions with lawmakers from six provincial level regions have pointed out the direction for us. Entrusted by 80 million people in the province, more than 140 NPC deputies from Jiangsu have fulfilled their duties in accordance with the law with a high sense of political responsibility and mission during the 10-day period. They submitted 19 motions and 410 proposals, well beyond that of last year. Many proposals attracted widespread attention and fully demonstrated the high political capacity and openness of the Jiangsu delegation.

The two sessions reflect the people-centered development concept.
