East China’s Jiangsu province will launch 240 large investment projects this year, the provincial development and reform commission said on Tuesday. 220 projects will be implemented and 20 will be kept on standby. Of the 220 projects to be implemented, 109 will start construction this year, and 111 will report further investment in the expansion programs. The total investment will amount to 533 billion yuan, a gain of 10.5 billion yuan from a year ago. These investment projects boast industrial cohesion enhancement, guidance and demonstration promotion and coordinated development.
