East China’s Jiangsu province has allocated 135 million yuan of incentive fund in two batches in a bid to stabilize pork price and supply.
The provincial fiscal budget has allocated 28.22 million yuan to reward 20 counties, districts or county-level cities for their increasing supply of pork. This is the second time the province has resorted to the incentive fund designated by the central finance authority.
Altogether, 135 million yuan of incentive fund has been distributed to ensure the expenditures on pigsty modification, introduction of improved species, sewage and manure treatment, epidemic prevention, insurance, and cold chain logistics, warehousing, and processing equipment in circulation and processing.
