East China’s Jiangsu province will promote the strategic cooperation between maritime justice and administrative enforcement, according to a meeting held Sunday at the Nanjing Maritime Court. Fei Gaoyun, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Political and Legal Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.
Fei Gaoyun spoke highly of the positive contributions made by Jiangsu’s Maritime Judicial and Administrative Law Enforcement Coordination Mechanism in serving the marine economy, strengthening maritime governance, and enhancing the effectiveness of maritime judicial law enforcement over the past year.
He called on the maritime judiciary and administrative organs across the province to study General Secretary Xi Jinping’s important speech at the ceremony marking the CPC’s centenary as China is making bold efforts to advance toward the second centenary goal of fully building a modern socialist country, as well as the Chinese Dream of national rejuvenation.
He urged more efforts to strengthen the sense of cooperation, make pragmatic efforts, and promote maritime judicial and administrative law enforcement cooperation on the new journey.
Fei Gaoyun asked the maritime judicial departments to enhance their political stance, strengthen their coordination, improve the working mechanism of maritime judicial and administrative law enforcement, take the initiative and strive to improve the actual effectiveness of maritime judicial and administrative law enforcement cooperation.
The port cargo execution inspection and control system was launched at the meeting.
The Provincial Department of Natural Resources, the Provincial Department of Ecology and Environment and five other provincial departments signed the "Memorandum on Strategic Cooperation in Maritime Judicial and Administrative Law Enforcement in Jiangsu."
Four one-stop dispute resolution centers for water traffic accidents were inaugurated.
