Wang Changsong, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Provincial Disciplinary Committee, and Director of the Provincial Supervision Committee, went on an inspection tour Thursday in Nanjing to check the epidemic prevention and control work. Han Liming, member of the Standing Committee of the Provincial Party Committee and Secretary of the Nanjing Municipal Party Committee, was present during the inspection tour.
During the visit to the Gulou Hospital, Wang Changsong emphasized that the most rigorous measures should be used to protect hospitals, schools, nursing homes, detention centers and vulnerable groups so as to resolutely prevent internal infections.
At the centralized isolation point in Qinhuai District, the nucleic acid testing point in Dongshan Town of Jiangning District, and the Jiangwan community in Jianye District, Wang Changsong requested that the source of infection be found to the greatest extent possible and the route of virus transmission should be cut off.
At the toll gate of the Nanjing-Hangzhou Expressway, Wang Changsong said that traffic checkpoints are key links in blocking the export of the epidemic, and the most stringent measures must be taken to prevent the spread of the epidemic to other provinces and cities.
Wang Changsong requested the provincial discipline inspection and supervision organs to resolutely safeguard the health and safety of the people by focusing on the policies and decisions of the Party Central Committee and the Provincial Party Committee on epidemic prevention and control.
