Various parts of the province are making unremitting efforts to create job opportunities for job seekers by taking advantage of the night markets. Let’s take a close look.

More than 50 companies showed up at the Yangzhou Slender West Lake Talent Night Market to provide thousands of job vacancies.

"In the evening, everyone has more time, so there is relatively more flow of people at the job fair," said a recruitment agent from a Company in Yangzhou.

"Participating in talent meetings in this way, I am more relaxed so I can have an open talk with the employer and have more communication and understanding," said a job seeker.

In order to attract more young people, Jurong City launched the first "University Talent Night Job Fair", providing more than 300 vacancies including R&D engineers and sales executives.

University graduates who are employed in Jurong within five years of graduation can receive a monthly living allowance of up to 1,800 yuan and a rental subsidy of 1,000 yuan per person.

"I feel pretty good about these policies so they can attract more college students to come here," said Wang Yuezhou, a graduate of Tongda College, Nanjing University of Posts and Telecommunications.

Xuzhou held 11 Talent Night Job Fairs, attracting more than 12,275 job seekers. Nantong Talent Night Job Fair attracted 23 thousand job seekers with 2007 of them reaching initial intentions of employment.
